Monster Hunter 4 Ships Over Two Million Copies in Japan in Less than Four Days After its Debut

on September 16, 2013 9:17 PM

Capcom just announced with a press release that Monster Hunter 4 has already shipped over two million copies in Japan.

That’s a most impressive performance for the 3DS exclusive title, as the announcement comes on the fourth day after its debut.

Of course we don’t yet know how many of those copies of the game actually found a home, as the number involves all the units shipped to retailers, but rumors of shortages at many stores tell the story of an extremely positive performance.

We’ll just have to wait for wednesday when the Media Create software sales charts will give us a more precise picture.
