If the info and screenshots of Gran Turismo 6 revealed earlier weren't enough for you, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe just sent in another large batch of screenies. This time they don't just show static cars in display mode, but they actually feature them in motion on on the Silverstone track (including the lovely GT-R that the series' creator Kazunori Yamauchi used at the Nurburgring 24h last summer), the circuit itself, the extremely detailed interior of a Ferrari Dino and a beautiful night shot of a Nissan GT-R.

They definitely look fantastic, and they show that the lighting (even more so at night) seems to have improved further from the already great engine that powered Gran Turismo 5. If the game will play as well as it looks, it might very well demonstrate that the PS3 has still a lot to say despite the impending release of the PS4.

You can enjoy the new screenshots in the gallery below while I go look for my dropped jaw again.
