A pair of new screenshots starring Arc System Works' spectacular looking upcoming fighter Guilty Gear Xrd - SIGN - has been released. These screens give us an early look at the character portraits and health bars up at the top of the screen, as well as the tension meters at the bottom of the screen. Both Ky and Sol appear to have full burst gauges as well, although they do look somewhat odd. I'm betting that most of these little details will change as the game's development speeds along.

Arc has also today launched the game's Japanese website, although it currently only contains two points of interest. The first is the game's debut trailer which was released at Arc Revo back in May. The second is information on the game's first location test, which will allow players to demo a very early build of the game. The location test will be held on the 4th floor of the Sega Akihabara Building from August 9th to August 12th and only Ky and Sol will be playable (bummer). How I long to live in Japan.

Guilty Gear Xrd - SIGN - is being developed for release in Japanese arcades and is expected to be released sometime next year. We'll certainly keep you up to date with any new information. Check out the second new screenshot below.
