After releasing last week, Mortal Kombat X has already yielded incredibly positive reception and some of the best sales that the Mortal Kombat series has seen yet, and as the game's Story Mode features a surprisingly well-crafted narrative with great cutscenes, it's not surprising to see that fans could expect more of it to show up soon.Responding to fan questions through Twitter, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon replied to one inquiry about characters in the game's Story Mode that appear but are not playable - such as Baraka, Rain, Sindel, and Smoke - and if/when they would be made available to play as DLC.In response, Boon teased the possibility by mentioning a "Story Pack," implying that DLC for the Story Mode of Mortal Kombat X is possibly on the way, following reports last week that modders were able to make several of the game's NPC characters like Baraka playable after tweaking the game's code and assets.Mortal Kombat X is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android - the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the title are expected to launch later in 2015.
