Following its reveal earlier this week, Mortal Kombat X received plenty of attention and now may receive even more with the promise that two brand new fighters will be shown off at next week’s E3 conference.

Responding to fan questions via Twitter, Mortal Kombat series creator Ed Boon revealed that two new characters to the series will be revealed during E3 next week, following the official reveal of the game earlier this week that showed fan favorites Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Fans of the series can expect to see more of the game’s roster, including the two new characters (and maybe more) next week during the conference.

Mortal Kombat X is currently expected to release in 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
