Last year, fighting game fans were brought back into the ring with the brutal (and bloody) Mortal Kombat X, and now those that might not have been ready to for its executions can jump in this spring with a new edition of the game.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced Mortal Kombat XL, a new edition of last year’s Mortal Kombat X that will include all of the game’s DLC and post-launch content, including all of the additional characters from the Kombat Pack 1 and the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 characters, including Leatherface and the Xenomorph.

In addition to the extra characters, the XL edition will also include the various skin packs released for the game, including the Apocalypse Skin Pack, the Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack, Kold War Scorpion Skin, and Samurai Skin Pack.

Mortal Kombat XL will be available for PS4 and Xbox One on March 1st, 2016 both physically and digitally, however no details on a PC version of the re-release have been announced at this time – in the meantime, you can check out the announcement trailer for the new edition below:
