The wait for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has been a lengthy one. The game was revealed alongside a short teaser trailer in 2012.

Developer TaleWorlds Entertainment announced via Steam that they would be starting a weekly blog. Its goal is to create some transparency between the developer and the game's community while Bannerlord is still in development.

Posts will go up every Thursday and be available in several languages. They'll feature different members of the development team, from artists, designers, programmers, and more. The team will talk about their daily work as well as their favorite parts of the upcoming game. Next week's post will feature TaleWorlds' CEO and founder Armagun Yavuz.

The game got a handful of new gameplay trailers at E3 this year showing off some glorious field battles.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the sequel to 2010's Mount & Blade: Warband, one of Steam's most successful titles, with 2.5 million players. Warband came to PS4 and Xbox One consoles late last year in September.

There is currently no set release date for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. The game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you can't wait though Mount & Blade: Warband is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
