Murasaki Baby Developer’s New PS4 Game “Perfect Fit for PS4;” a “Huge Step” for the Studio

on November 2, 2014 2:17 PM

A couple weeks ago Murasaki Babyy’s developer Ovosonico teased a new PS4 game in the works, and absolutely nothing about the game is known at the moment. Recenly I had a chance to interview Creative Director Massimo Guarini, and he provided some color on the upcoming PS4 project.

I cannot disclose anything at the moment, but the fact that we’re definitely starting to work on PS4 as a natural evolution of the studio. So I hope to be able to tell more soon.

When I asked if they’re excited to work on PS4 he continued:

Absolutely. It’s a huge step for our work, it’s interesting… For us the idea comes before the technology and the platform. PS Vita was the natural and perfect platform for Murasaki Baby, because it’s a touch game and the core mechanic is actually grabbing hands. The next thing has a totally different approach so it’s a perfect fit for PS4.

It’ll be interesting to see how Ovosonico will manage to exploit the unique features of the PS4 as they did for the PS Vita. For the moment, we’ll have to be content with this little tease and wait, while you’ll be able to see the full interview tomorrow.
