Koei Tecmo’s Musou Stars Gets New PS4 Gameplay, Opoona Announced as New Playable Character

During the a livestream from Tokyo, Koei Tecmo showcased about nine minutes of gameplay of the upcoming all-stars game Musou Stars.

Musou Stars is the upcoming all-stars game featuring thirty characters from the Koei Tecmo portfolio, and today we see Sophie from Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, and Wang Yuanji from Samurai Warriors in action, played by their voice actresses.

On top of that, we also get the announcement of a new character, Opoona from the 2007 Wii game with the same title.

Lastly, a few bonuses were also introduced, including a Kasumi costume from Dead or Alive for Wang Yuanji (which will be a first print purchase bonus), and two posters showing the female and male characters of the game at the hot springs, included in the Japanese Collector’s Edition. Various other crossover costumes for several characters will be distributed as retailer-exclusive bonuses.

Musou Stars will release in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on March 2nd, with no western release date announced for the moment.
