My New Favorite Song

I was up last night religiously playing Adult Swim’s Robot Unicorn Attack until… well, let’s just say very late. The game is annoyingly difficult and will probably encourage your anger to shoot pigeons with a scoped BB gun. But through the entire process of perpetuating fail (and you will fail, I promise you), I found myself hysterically laughing and loving the theme song from the game.

You play as a robotic horse jumping around in a world inhabited by the sheer ecstasy of colorful ambiance that radiates the words “dream like.” However, for whatever reason, the horse is running and jumping over cliffs with no signs of stopping, unless a wall of sorts brings its gallantly gallop to a painful crashing halt, where it explodes and ends that moment of blissful happiness the song ensues. Let’s just say that, for a person who hates jumping in games, I was distracted in the majority of my horse-crashing frenzy from a song that is… I dare say catchy. The song saved my keyboard’s life many times.

This would make for an awesome ringtone, I’d say. If you haven’t played the game, please do so. It’s become more addicting than warm buttered cornbread at a southern get-together – and this includes the gayest song in the world, which is 10x more addicting, sadly.
