Cyan Inc. announced today that their sci-fi adventure game, Obduction, is now available on Mac for $29.99.

Obduction has been called a successor to the popular game Myst by its developers, who also developed that title back in the 90's. The developers also pointed out how Obduction being released on Mac brings things full circle, as it was the first platform Myst released on years ago.

Rand Miller, CEO of Cyan, had the following to say about releasing the game on Mac computers:

"I’ve been a Mac user since 1984, and many people may not realize that Myst was released on the Mac before the PC version. So, even though our Mac release of Obduction came a bit later, it demonstrates our continued commitment to the Mac platform.”

Now that the game has released on Mac, Cyan is finalizing and fulfilling the Kickstarter rewards for the people who helped crowd-fund the title.
