NakedMan VS the Clothes Asks ‘Don’t You Hate Pants’ on Steam Greenlight

Some days you just have to run away from pants; Developer 4Freaks Fiction recently uploaded a trailer for their platformer NakedMan VS the Clothes. This was to celebrate the addition of the game to Steam’s Greenlight program. However, you can try it right now through a demo available on itch.io.

The story concerns the very real threat of a rebellion of fabric. Yes, the shirts off our backs have forced us to hide underground in NakedMan VS the Clothes. But a hero has arisen to save all of humanity. This ‘knight in shiny censor bar’ will traverse volcanoes and the ocean in order to end the rebellion. Equipped with his trusty spray bottle (filled with starch?), NakedMan fights off belt-buckle snakes and aquatic pants.

The demo contains two levels and a boss battle and a ‘frenetic’ boss battle. Will this mystery guardian be the full diving suit or maybe the giant worm made up of rolled socks. Beyond these boss encounters you will also be able to seek out secret areas. Will you find objects to somehow customize a hero who is completely naked? Only playing will answer these questions.

The release date for the game is ‘as soon as we get greenlit’ and unfortunately no price has been given. NakedMan VS the Clothes seems to also be a PC exclusive for the moment but that might change if it’s successful on Steam. The trailer is available below.
