Namco Bandai Teases Something Related to Ace Combat: Is the Series Going Back to its Roots?

on June 21, 2013 8:13 PM

Today Namco Bandai updated the official Ace Combat facebook fan page with a completely new cover photo (that you can see above), portraying the old glorious Project Aces Logo, that was completely removed during the promotion of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

What’s even more interesting is that in the background we can see something that very closely resembles the fragments of the Ulysses asteroid hitting the old dear fictional world of Strangereal.

This all begs the question: are Namco Bandai and Project Aces teasing a new Ace Combat game? Maybe one that will abandon the rather mediocre real world experiment and go back to the fictional world most fans know and love? Will we be able to fly again in the skies of Osea and Yokutobania?

We can only hope so. For what I’m concerned¬†Assault Horizon simply didn’t exist. It was just a bad dream. It’s time to go back to¬†Ace Combat’s roots.
