It was only a month and a half ago that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst reached American consoles; now Namco Bandai Games Europe S.A.S. announced the next game in the series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

Available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime next year in 2014, Revolution is CyberConnect2’s newest installment, and comes with a host of new features. With Revolution, the game is being described as reaching “a new threshold of playability and perfection,” with new animations and visual effects, new techniques, more playable characters (with the roster reaching over 100 playable characters), new Combination Ultimate jutsu attacks, and a brand new character designed by Naruto‘s creator, Masashi Kishimoto.

Check out the game in the gallery below, which shows off the new screenshots. For more details, screenshots and trailers on the series, check out all of our extensive Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 news coverage.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
