Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Goes Gold

Good news for prospective fans of CyberConnect2’s upcoming fighting game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2: today the game has gone gold. I’ll bet that tidbit will make the wait until the game’s release on October 19th that much shorter.

For those who didn’t know (myself included until just a short while ago), going gold does not mean that a title has sold more than one hundred thousand copies the way it does in the music industry. It means that the game is complete and that the next stop is manufacturing.

If you’re unsure about NSUNS2, check out our impressions of the game here. There is also a playable demo available for download on both XBL and PSN. The game hits North American store shelves this October.
