It seems like Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z isn't the only anime-inspired video game to get a multiplayer battle mode.

Namco Bandai Games Europe S.A.S. has announced that there's a brand new mode dashing into the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution: the all-new Ninja World Tournament Mode. Here gamers will compete in up to four player ninja-melee battles that so far are said to be just against CPU opponents. These battles are won by winning Battle Orbs by attacking enemies, with the character holding the most winning at the end of the match.

This tournament will take place on Festival Island where entrants will be able to compete in tiered battles, working across the island to reach the S-ranked battles and be crowned victorious as the ultimate ninja. The previously revealed Mecha-Naruto has also been said to be seen on the island, so undoubtedly players will find themselves taking on the android/mecha-Godzilla-like fighter at some point.

It seems like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is really adding a ton of new features for fans to enjoy, with the previously announced Combination Ultimate Jutsu Finishers and the most characters included ever in the franchise.
