We have followed Naughty Dog's Technical Artist Andrew Maximov since his hiring two years ago. In the meanwhile, he has grown to become a quite prominent developer among those working on the technical solutions for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, majorly contributing to many elements like for instance the foliage technology.

We have caught a glimpse of his GDC talk "Uncharted 4's Technical Art Culture" a few days ago, but now the whole video has been made available on YouTube, and it's a really interesting panel, providing a very intriguing and at times even funny look at how things work at Naughty Dog.

Most of the concepts expressed are also quite accessible even if you don't have any development knowledge, which isn't something you can say about all GDC panels.

You can enjoy it below.
