As one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year (and perhaps the most sought-after of PlayStation 4’s exclusives in 2016), the build-up to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been met with some slight disappointment as the title had seen two previous delays, with yesterday bringing another slight delay of two weeks to May 10th, 2016 to allow for additional manufacturing and distribution time for the game.
Despite the setback, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann commented through Twitter on the matter of the (now) third delay of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and though brief, addressed fans by thanking them for their patience and what will “make for a smooth worldwide launch.”
The only other note that Druckmann left was that “it’ll be worth it at the end. Promise.” Though Uncharted 4 has now seen several delays from late last year to spring of this year, ultimately it’s for the betterment of the game, and hopefully the extra time being given will be used to make Uncharted 4 the incredible experience that it will surely be for those looking to see Nathan Drake’s final adventure.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will release for PS4 on May 10th, 2016.
