Naughty Dog, oh how you love to tease.Yesterday, Bruce Straley, the Co-Game Director for The Last of Us, tweeted that the reveal for the upcoming The Last of Us DLC would be happening this week, although no indication or details were provided any further. Today though, the game's other creative lead, Neil Druckmann, sent out a tweet that seems to give us a much clearer picture of what to expect, and when.Druckmann tweeted an in-game photo of a character (unknown, unfortunately) holding a newspaper that talks of the "mysterious infection" and "contamination" that sets in motion the events of The Last of Us. Druckmann also tweeted with the hashtag, #OutbreakDay, and a date of September 26, 2013 can be seen along the top of the newspaper - just so happening to be tomorrow. The photo raises many questions, but also gives us many answers. It now seems like the DLC reveal will be happening tomorrow (!!!), and seems to indicate that we may finally be getting details about the game's single-player DLC, which Druckmann is hinting probably occurs either right before or during the "Outbreak Day" of the cordiceps fungus that infects humans in The Last of Us and launches the US into post-apocalyptic abandon.Stay tuned for more details as (hopefully) we find out just what to expect in the new DLC for The Last of Us: in the meantime, you can check out the tweet and photo below.
