Naughty JRPG Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors Denied a Rating In Germany; Won’t Be Sold in the Country

NIS America announced today with a press release that the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (USK), which is Germany’s video game ratings board, refused to rate Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors for PS Vita.

Due to this ruling, the publisher won’t be able to sell the game at retail or advertise the game in the country.

NIS America is already altering the original Criminal Girls 2 quite extensively to make it more acceptable in the eyes of the western rating boards, but apparently the changes weren’t enough for the notoriously strict USK.

Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors will still be released as scheduled in Europe on September 23rd, and in North America on September 20th. The game won’t be released in Australia as well.
