2K Sports is teaming up with rapper Jay Z that will work as Executive Producer for the upcoming NBA 2K13. Jay Z has been involved with athletics as is shown with his part-ownership of 40/40 sports clubs and the Brooklyn Nets.
He helped in determining the art style for the game that will be present in the look and feel of the game, menus, soundtrack, and more. NBA 2K13 will have audio and visual style that strikes a balance between basketball and influential music. The 24 song soundtrack, selected by Jay Z, includes:
