As everyone knows one of the best experiences of playing any NBA 2K game is the music. It can affect your mood, inspire those 3-point shots and it adds to the overall excitement of being a member of the team. In exciting news, yesterday the soundtrack for NBA 2K14 was released and there was a shocker.
Every single song was chosen by cover star LeBron James. The 20-song soundtrack features the ever-so-popular Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore, and the controversial Kanye West.
In a released statement James commented with,
2K is letting me take control of some important elements in NBA 2K14, including this year's soundtrack. I love that I'm the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack.
Developed by Visual Concepts, NBA 2K14 launches October 1 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will also release for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 later this year.
