NBA 2K14 is turning out to be one of the biggest hits of both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One’s launch, with many citing its impressive graphics and gameplay. One of the premier modes for the game is MyCAREER; a mode which most sports franchises has had different iterations and variatons of.

Senior Community Manager for NBA 2K14, Ronnie Singh, described MyCAREER as, “a new cinematic experience that rivals a Hollywood film,” citing its, “300 pages of script,” that take takes players on an “emotional journey” spanning the beginning of their player’s career over the first 82 games of the season.

It is quite impressive that a sports game has the types of nuances and beats that Mr. Singh goes on to describe in his guest post on the PlayStation Blog. DualShockers’ Al Zamora gave the game a satisfactory review, which can be read here.
