Miss the days of NBA Jam and NBA Street. Well, arcade-style basketball game NBA Playgrounds -- which is said to be inspired by the aforementioned games -- from developer Saber Interactive might be for you then.

At the time of its announcement -- which was two days ago -- the game was only accompanied by an announcement trailer. But now, Saber Interactive has also released the first batch of screenshots for the game.

For those that don't know: NBA Playgrounds is a return to arcade-style basketball games of yesteryear. It features an extensive roster of both current and retired NBA players (who can be leveled up over time), and all 30 NBA teams. You can play solo or with friends/family in local and online multiplayer, or against the world in online tournaments.

NBA Playgrounds is slated to release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in May, next month. It will cost $19.99 USD.
