After having been known for a huge variety of classic books and stories like American GodsAnansi Boys, and Coraline, best-selling author Neil Gaiman will take the plunge into video games with the debut of his first title, Wayward Manor, this summer.

Developer The Odd Gentlemen (known previously for The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom) has announced that Wayward Manor will be releasing for PC and Mac on July 15th, 2014, following a brief delay to add in more puzzles and “an extra level of polish.” Featuring the adventures of a ghost as he tries to clear out a decrepit 1920s mansion filled with paranormal beings and entities, Gaiman mentioned on the game that the goal is “to clear the house of all these people. You want to scare them away. How you do that will take all your ingenuity and brilliance.”

Wayward Manor releases for PC and Mac on July 15th, 2014, and will available through both Steam and The Humble Store.
