Neocore Games Talks PlayStation Neo and Project Scorpio: “More Performance Power to Play With”

During a meeting at Gamescom, focused on the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, Neocore Games PR and Marketing Games David Martha talked about the upcoming PlayStation Neo and Project Scorpio from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft:

“Whenever a new technology comes out, we definitely take a look at it. So for example, with Neo and Scorpio, we definitely take a look at these new consoles and we see what we can do with it, and we can push it to its limits obviously, as we did with our PC version of the game and the console versions of the Van Helsing trilogy.”

Asked wehther the new consoles bring additional work with testing and QA, Martha answered:

“In a way, you’re doing more work because you’re doing one version of the game for PS4 and one version of the game for Neo. So in a way it’s more work, but in a way it just gives us more performance power to play with.”

Having checked out Inquisitor – Martyr at Gamescom (and you’ll soon read my preview), I can definitely see that I’m eager to see what the folks at Neocore will be able to do with the new consoles.
