Never Seen Before Assassin’s IV: Black Flag Internal Video Shows Next Gen (PS4/Xbox One/PC) Effects

During a conference held by Nvidia in Montreal Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Associate Producer Sylvain Trottier introduced a very impressive video that was never shown before, used internally a few months ago to showcase the effects specific to next generation platforms (PC, Xbox One and PS4) to the publisher’s executives.

The video, that you can see below recorded directly from the conference’s screen, is definitely impressive, and gives us a glimpse on god rays, dynamic foliage, rain effects and much more. Trottier was very specific in mentioning that it was never publicly showcased before.

If you want to see more of the difference between next generation and old generation versions of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, you can check out my post from yesterday, that explains them in detail. But before that, check out the video below. I suggest cranking up to 1080p resolution to better appreciate the effects.
