New Ar Tonelico III Trailer Is Less Anime, More Gameplay

I know what you’re thinking, “Chad, you are way to obsessed with this game!”  Well, maybe.  Japan is getting a ton of great RPGs early this year and who knows when they will come to this side of the Pacific.  So, I gotta torture you all with all these screens, videos and news.  Oh, hey, speaking of which, a new video for Ar Tonelico III was posted today.  The last trailer for the game showed off what seems to be its many, many anime cut scenes, focusing very little on actual in-game play.  Well, this one is exactly the opposite.  It focuses a lot on the battle system, some “costume changes” (if you get my drift) and just general game engine rendered visuals from running around towns and performing various actions.  The game looks great, if you ask me!  Check it out below.

Ar Tonelico III releases on January 28 in Japan, exclusively for the PS3.

He's a huge fan of iconic games like Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI and Persona 4 yet enjoys the smaller niche titles, as well. In his spare time he enjoys experiencing new beer, new foods and keeping up with just about every sci-fi show on television. He's married to an intelligent, beautiful Southern Belle who keeps his life interesting with witty banter and spicy Cajun cooking.
