New Ar Tonelico III Trailer Skimps On Nothing But Clothes

The third title in the Ar Tonelico series – and the first in full 3D and on the PS3 – is set to release later this month in Japan, and Gust has released a new four-minute trailer for the game that shows off a lot of…stuff.  This is a full-on anime explosion, but fans of the series and the developer are prepared for that and, like myself, probably look forward to it.  Actually, the first minute or so of the trailer reminds me of the opening sequence of any number of anime shows that I’ve watched.

Anyway, you’ll see some nifty battle sequences (reminds me a lot of Tales of Vesperia – and that is not a bad thing!), some dialog scenes and some removal of clothes.  Yes, there is a system in the game that give the girls more abilities and improve their overall performance in battle when you remove and/or change their clothes.  So, want to try Ar Tonelico out yet?  It releases in Japan on January 28 and will likely make its way to Western regions at some point.  Here’s hoping anyway, right?

Check out the video below, it’s pretty sweet!
