Bioware loves to tease us with little bits of Dragon Age: Inquisition every now and then. This time, they've released a simple but haunting piece of concept art.

This piece was sent out over Twitter and Facebook. The one on Twitter had the caption: "Here lies the abyss, the well of all souls. From these emerald waters doth life begin anew”, while the one on Facebook had this under it: "And thus was mighty Arlathan cast down, its people swallowed by darkness – never to rise again."

Pretty sparse and vague information there but if you're a serious fan of this series (which I am) there is something that could be gleamed here.

Arlathan is the ancient city of the Elves. The Elves in the Dragon Age world lost their ancient home centuries ago and now live as second class citizens. This picture could mean that we'll get to explore the ruins of their lost city. Inquisition is said to be the most expansive Dragon Age game and set to take place in many locations throughout Thedas. It wouldn't be a surprise if ancient Arlathan is one of those places.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released for the PC, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year.
