A 25-second teaser for Call of Duty: WWII‘s Nazi zombie mode has been re-tweeted by the official Call of Duty twitter today. The teaser is an extension of the game’s AR that YouTubers have been following over the past few weeks, the teasers may give us hints as to the upcoming mode’s setting.
The teaser was posted alongside the name of a town: “Mittelburg.” The video on to show a town, filmed in black and white, as the camera moves towards the gates of a mansion. As soon as the camera reaches the gates though, the camera shakes as if it were attacked and flips around.
There isn’t much to go on here, but the town is deserted and windows and doors are boarded up, as if the town had been abandoned, or to hold back the undead Fourth Reich. Mittelburg is the name of a real castle in Germany.
This video was found amidst Manila folders on the game’s hidden website. YouTuber NoahJ456 broadcast his findings via livestream and Twitter. Call of Duty’s Twitter account retweeted it as the build up to tomorrow’s reveal intensifies.
