New Comparison Video of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Shows What Death Looks Like in 1080p/60fps Between PS4 and PS3

Last year fans of the hardcore RPG genre took to the challenge of Dark Souls II, and for those that missed out, the upcoming Scholar of the First Sin re-release may satisfy the tests of those looking to combat death.

In a new comparison video between the PS4 re-release and the original title on PS3, viewers will get to see death in a whole new light thanks to the updated visuals and performance that will be present in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. Updating the game to run at 1080p/60fps compared to the original title running around 720p/20-30fps on Xbox 360 and PS3, there’s some pretty noticeable new details through the game’s revised textures, lighting, and more in the video.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will release for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, with the original title available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC – you can check out the comparison video between Scholar of the First Sin on PS4 versus the original title on PS3 below:
