New Continent to the Resident Evil Franchise

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles set to release for Wii November 17th, will take us through Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica. But the franchise will also take us to a whole new continent. Lately, they have taken us to previously unexplored continents such as Europe (Resident Evil 4) and to Africa (Resident Evil 5). Today Capcom has revealed that they have decided to bring us to gun down zombies in South America.  Play as Leon S. Kennedy and Jack Krauser as they track down Javier Hidalgo, leader of the drug cartel known as the Sacred Snakes. Now maybe this is just me… but Resident Evil 5 already got lip for the racism thing. This drug thing in South America may not be the best idea in my opinion.

The wait may be a little long (for the impatient), so Capcom has created twitter pages for both Leon and Jack, and you can follow what they are up to in South America. And as always, enjoy the screenshots!
