New Developer Diary for Dungeon Defenders Teaches You How to Build Effectively

on September 19, 2011 6:30 PM

I’ve been looking forward to Dungeon Defenders for a while – it’s Trendy Entertainment’s answer to the tower defense genre. Except that isn’t all it is. There’s co-op, RPG elements, lots of action, cool-looking visuals and all that jazz. This particular developer diary talks about the phase of the game where you can analyze and set up your defenses, called¬†conveniently¬†the “build phase”. The type and location of the defenses you place has a huge impact on how well you hold up during the battle phase, as the defenses have to be matched to the particular enemy that is coming your direction. Hit the break to check out the full diary, which can explain it so much better than I can.

Dungeon Defenders hits PC and Xbox Live Arcade on October 19, 2011, and will be released on the PlayStation Network at a later date. Us PS3 owners always get the raw end of the deal…
