New Divinity II Game Play Trailer

Divinity II: Ego Draconis is the follow-up to the previous title Divine Divinity and is set to give gamers some more fantasy RPG love in just over a month, when it hits store shelves here in North America.  In Divinity II you beat down the forces of evil as, not just a human, but as a powerful dragon knight, as well.  Sounds nifty, no?

With over 60 hours of game play Divinity II may rival the other latest and greatest RPG on everyone’s mind – that other dragon-slaying fantasy RPG.  I won’t name names!  Interested yet?  If you aren’t quite sold, check out the new game play trailer below which focuses on the main character’s ability to read other people’s minds, a useful quest-solving ability, no doubt.

Divinity II will be in stores on January 5, and if you’re considering pre-ordering the Xbox 360 version, you might want to check out the special bonus you get for doing so at GameStop.  If you pre-order there, you’ll receive a special set of armor – Blood Echelon Armor – and a shiny new weapon as a bonus.  We’ll be keeping our eyes on this one in the coming weeks, it definitely seems like another game to check out if you’re a fan of the genre.
