Many fans were outraged when Capcom revealed that neither the Shadow Mode DLC or any of the purchases involved with it would be transferring over to UMVC3. What at first just seemed like wasted money (because Shadow Mode always looked ridiculous) is now actually and undeniably wasted money. Despite this, they've confirmed that DLC game modes will appear in UMVC3.  Combine this with the DLC costumes already planned, and the strongly suspected new DLC characters and Capcom looks poised to cash in on this title in a way that only Capcom can.

The first planned DLC game mode is Unlimited Hyper Combo Mode which will, as its name suggests, give players an infinite hyper bar. You can play around with an infinite hyper bar right now in Practice Mode. No pricing or release details are available for this DLC. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be available on HD consoles this November.
