New Dragon Quest VII 3DS Remake Screenshots Show New Features

Square Enix is taking a page from Dragon Quest IX for the upcoming 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII, introducing a quite strong suite of features that mix online and asynchronous offline gameplay.

Players will be able to collect monsters and house them into the Monster Park, while recruited characters will populate the Village of Immigrants. Monsters from the Monster Park can then be sent into dungeons to collect Streetpass Stones that can then be used in the Village of Immigrants to unlock further adventures, or exchanged at the tavern with other players.

To introduce those features Square Enix released a nice batch of screenshots, that you can see in the gallery below. One thing is for sure. 3DS gamers are in for a treat, with what’s probably one of the best games of the series.
