Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn isn’t the only MMORPG by Square Enix getting a guest star from another chapter of its franchise (Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII), as Dragon Quest X is going to get the same treatment soon.

Today the Japanese publisher released a new trailer featuring the upcoming version 1.5 of the game (that will hit the Japanese servers on July the 25th), and shows, between other things, Meena (or Minea if you prefer her Japanese name) from Dragon Quest IV, that will make a comeback as an NPC in the game.

The new version will bring several improvements to the game, like the continuation of the main storyline, new dungeons, a beauty parlor to change one’s character’s looks, a housing mannequin to change equipment on the fly, a new floating mount, a beach resort and a new level cap raised to 75.

Below you can see the trailer and dwell in the nostalgia for the good old times as you see the beautiful Meena. I wonder if her sister Maya will appear too sooner or later.
