New The Elder Scrolls Online Video Developer Diary Showcases the Three Factions

If you’re like me and you’re still on the fence on which one of the three alliances to chose in the upcoming The Elder Scrolls Online, today Zenimax Online Studios released a new video developer diary that could help with the decision.

Lead Loremaster Buffalo Bill… ahem, sorry… i mean Lawrence Schick takes five minutes to explain the motives and ambitions of each of the three factions, and the current situation in Cyrodiil, that leads for the war for the Imperial throne. Needless to say, the Daedra are involved. Who’s surprised?

I’m also quite sure I’m not the only one feeling a very strong Dark Age of Camelot vibe in  the three factions, that really remind me of Albion, Midgard and Hibernia in many ways. It’s not so surprising since the Game Director Matt Firor is also one of DAOC‘s daddies, and it’s definitely not displeasing considering that Dark Age of Camelot has always been and is still is my favorite MMORPG of all times.

In the meanwhile, I think I made my decision while I was writing. All hail the Daggerfall Covenant!
