New F1 2009 Monza Track Video

A new F1 2009 track has been revealed in the form of this video, where Formula One driver Anthony Davidson gives you a walkthrough of this historic circuit in Italy.  The game promises to give you an authentic Formula One racing feel, with all the teams, drivers, cars and tracks of the 2009 season.  If the video below has you aching for more, the game ships for the PSP and Wii this fall.  Along with the video I’ve included the full press release.

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – Sept. 11, 2009 With the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO SANTANDER D’ITALIA 2009 next on the race calendar, Codemasters has enlisted the help of FORMULA ONE™ test driver and BBC Radio 5 live pundit Anthony Davidson to talk gamers through a lap of Monza in its upcoming game F1 2009. The video, taken from the Nintendo Wii™ version and released today, gives gamers a driver’s eye view of the track while Anthony Davidson gives a detailed insight about what it’s like to do a lap of one of FORMULA ONE’S most iconic circuits.

Screenshots, featuring the stunning Monza circuit, have also been released today showcasing F1 2009’s authentic recreation of all the official teams, drivers and circuits from the 2009 FIA FORMULA ONE World Championship™.

Out this autumn, F1 2009 on the Wii will set new standards for racing immersion and authenticity on the Nintendo console while remaining accessible for the entire family. The PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system version, which will also be released in autumn, will allow fans the opportunity to enjoy the world’s most thrilling and glamorous sport on the move and will feature ad hoc multiplayer for up to four players.
