If today's episode of my The Story So Far column wasn't enough Final Fantasy XIV for you, Square Enix has you covered with a brand new gameplay trailer straight from the Alpha of A Realm Reborn. 

The new trailer, showcasing as usual the area around Gridania, shows a couple of very basic quests and combat from the point of view of a Conjurer and a Lancer. It's quite noticeable how much better many animations look compared to those in the previous incarnation of the game, especially for spell casting.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you're still waiting for your Alpha invite, Square Enix has announced another batch for tomorrow (that in Japan is already today). May want to start checking your mailbox soon.
