Square Enix just released a new batch of lovely screenshots of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 2.2 patch named “Through the Maelstorm” that will be released on March 27th.

The screenshots showcase some of the features that will come with the large content update, and specifically the focus on the new beast tribe daily quest chains (Kobolds and Shahagin), the “glamour” vanity system that will allow players to give any piece of equipment the appearance of another, and new equipment that will be manufactured by the legendary blacksmith Gerolt.

More details about the update will be shared tomorrow during the Letter from the Producer Live, and of course you can expect extensive coverage here on DualShockers.
