New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Screenshots Tease Phase 3 of the Beta

We recently learned that we’ll have to wait until the beginning of June to experience the third phase of the beta of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, but today Square Enix released three new screenshots from the client that we’ll use when the new phase will begin.

A further improvement to the lighting engine is very visible, and we can also see some changes done to the map. Of course the most noticeable element is the fact that the screenies have been taken in Ul’dah and in its surroundings. Those areas weren’t available during the first and second phases of the beta (you can check out my hands-on preview here).
