New Final Fantasy XV Screenshots Show Improved Vegetation and City Scene on Standard PS4

Today Square Enix held an Active Time Report broadcast from the new Square Enix Cafe in Akihabara, Tokyo, and Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata introduced new screenshots of the game showing off the results of recent optimization.

The first two screenshots showcase improved vegetation, grass, LOD and shadows The third screenshot shows the latest version of a city scene, where lighting and texture have been improved as well.

They were all taken on a recent build on a standard PS4.  In addition to that, we learn that the game now runs at stable 30 FPS in most areas.

According to Tabata-san, the development team managed to reach the visual level they were aiming for.

You can check out the images below. Keep in mind that the livestream was broadcasted in 720p. so the game will look even better on your screen.
