Units in Fire Emblem: Awakening will come in more than 40 different flavors or classes. Nintendo has released a new trailer showing several of these classes. In traditional Fire Emblem style, each class has specific strengths and weaknesses. Pegasus Knights can cover great distances on their mounts an are effective against magic wielders, but they’re vulnerable to bows. Thieves are swift and hard to hit and they can loot chests and steal from enemies, but their attack and defense stats are shockingly low to make up for it.

Fire Emblem: Awakening will be bring deep, tactical action to the Nintendo 3DS on February 4th. A playable demo of the game is available now from the Nintendo eShop. See the new classes trailer below.
