The newest teaser for the RPG, based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series which I have surprisingly yet to read, introduces us to the town of Riverspring and the neighboring Sarwyck Keep. We get both a visual overview, ripe with lifelike details down to the dead autumn leaves on the ground, as well as the current social situation. Lord Sarwyck is dead, and his daughter is ruling in his stead, though apparently not very well. Discontent flourished as the city slowly sinks into chaos.
Sadly, the trailer hints that A Game of Thrones may have fallen victim to Skyrim‘s not-so-attractive female syndrome, if the young Lady Sarwyck is anything to go by. Judge for yourself, as the trailer is after the cut. A Game of Thrones is currently set to be released sometime early this year for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
