on September 17, 2014 7:12 PM

Get ready for some dungeon crawling and puzzle solving action, because Legend of Grimrock 2 is coming in hot October 15th.

In a new gameplay trailer, developers Almost Human dropped the date and revealed pre-orders on their website with a 15% discount. The sequel to 2012’s Legend of Grimrock, the game promises to keep players on their toes with its difficulty and old school inspiration from early 90s games like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder.

Legend of Grimrock 2 promises to take players to the mysterious Isle of Nex as four prisoners are shipwrecked on its shores. Crumbling ancient ruins, shrines and various dungeons are just a few of the things the survivors will have to overcome if they want to make it out alive.

Packing in over 20 hours of gameplay, tons of crafting, seven playable class, five character races, over 42 different kinds of monsters and plenty more, Legend of Grimrock 2 looks to be brimming with content. Good thing the developers added a dungeon editor that fans can use to create their own stories and make it a near endlessly playable experience.

For those curious, you can check out the system requirements below and also watch the full trailer as well. You can also go pre-order the game over at the Grimrock website.
