New Neptuna V Screens Show What Battles Are Like

They don’t look much different than the previous two games, do they? While, on the surface, they probably don’t, the kicker here is that these are shots of Gamindustri in the 1980s, because Neptune has to travel back in time in Neptunia V, which is the third game in the franchise.

Compile Heart released a scant three screens today focusing on Neptune, Noire and a new character, Pururut, who transforms into the goddess Iris Heart, who rules Planeptune in that wonderful era of parachute pants and big hair bands. Neptunia V will be out later this year in Japan exclusively for the PS3 and will hopefully see a Western localization like the previous two titles.
