After a busy holiday season that included some of Nintendo’s heavy-hitting titles like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Nintendo still isn’t showing any signs of slowing down with one of the studio’s highly-anticipated new titles, Splatoon, coming toward the end of May – luckily, a new video broadcast next week will fill you in on what to expect from the paint-based shoot ’em up.
Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct broadcast will be coming next week on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 starting at 7am PDT (10am EDT), with the latest broadcast event to focus solely on the Wii U-exclusive Splatoon with Nintendo’s “expert team of scientists at the Squid Research Lab” on hand to explain all the ins-and-outs of Splatoon prior to its release.
The Nintendo Direct broadcast next week will be available to view through the company’s official Nintendo Direct page, with the stream to be available through both Nintendo’s American and European branches. Surely, there will be a good look at gameplay and even more squid/ink-based puns to be had.
Splatoon releases for Wii U on May 28th, 2015 in Japan, followed by a worldwide release the next day on May 29th, 2015.
