New Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Videos Show Adorable Gameplay

For some reason, 5pb and 7Sixty are planning on releasing the co-op side-scrolling beat’em up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds in North America even though the Xbox 360 exclusive anime fighting game Phantom Breaker – which was confirmed for a North American release some time ago – never actually managed to see a release here. Regardless, they’ve released a pair of new game-play trailers showing the game off. The game-play actually looks very fast, hectic and exciting and very unique from the popular Castle Crashers, although the comparison is warranted.

I’d probably enjoy spending a little time playing something like this, but I’d definitely enjoy playing the Phantom Breaker fighting title much more. No North American release date has been revealed yet for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. Check out the new trailers below.
